I'll have to step out of this one, on hols now and won't be near a recordable guitar for the next 3 weeks. Plus I've started my Xmas Eve drinking, my drunken solos are bad... very bad.

I think the chords for the first section before the Samba-y bit is

G Bm Em Am
G Bm Em Am
D Am D (hold)
Am Bm Am D

and the Samba-y bit is

G Am repeat

Had a freak lightbulb changing accident, slicing finger and thumb open, will try tonight to find out how bad they are. Gigging on nyd so don't want to kill them

Okay, so I had a noodle around with the first bit of the track.

It's here warts and all ... I was trying to play tasteeeeeeee ... I might have failed. In my defense I was talking to my wife at one point, and then my phone rang towards 3:20sec but I refused to stop - until it all got too much.

Never heard the original so have a laugh ...
