I have it on my iPad but have never found a use for it,

yeah but you'll need a means to plug your guitar into it, I used to have iRig for my ipad which worked reasonably well.

The Guitar Hero cables work well too on a Laptop or iMac

My 8 year old daughter uses it on her iPad and makes cool doof doof music!!

you know that the term 'doof doof' was cool about 20 years ago? and never since.
