Auckland Gearfest?
Is it time for another Auckland Gearfest? I'm going to be up that way for Labour weekend (24th of October) and would love to come and meet the Auckland contingent.

Do want! I've never been to a gearfest before so have been holding out for the next Auckland one. Don't we normally have them at the manor? That would be awesome.benderissimo wrote:Is it time for another Auckland Gearfest? I won't be there, 'cos I'll be in Europe, but may I exhort those of you who have not yet done it, to make an effort and meet our fearless leader in person - worth every Kilkenny he'll screw out of you. Capn Black is worth the price of admission alone - awesome bloke! Adrian (Ash) will really impress you on several levels. Plus so many other benefits of actually meeting your forum e-friends. A nicer bunch of people would be hard to find.
Do it!!
Do it!!

Awesome! I won't bring any spare undies or deoderant so I can fit the Robin into my luggage allowance.

It's gone very quiet in here all of a sudden... did I paint too vivid a mental picture there?
