The only person who looked like I had imagined, was hot grits (because of his avatar) and for some reason Dong Hua looked AND played exactly how I thought he would. I thought Ian (CD) was going to be a hairy biker type because of his avatar :lol:

I'm annoyed i couldn't make it, but had issues with my transportation overheating so had to fix that instead. :(

Yeah I noticed too. Noticed a couple of people missing and wrote their names down on the absentee list and gave it to the truancy officer. :P

Lots of effects for sure! Effects are flavour of the month, it seems.
Next gearfest everybody will turn up with ADA preamps and Alesis Quadreverbs :mrgreen:

Funny you mention it, machina sold his ADA a while before left NZ. His sound was ace. Though direct to his jcm800 was always sweetest.

Was definitely a great day and I was very impressed with the turnout of females :)
I have a few pics (including a cracker of BG ;) ) which I will get up some time this week (maybe tonight if I can be arsed... it was a long drive back to Napier!)
