Wellington Gearfest November 14th
Saturday 1pm-6pm at Eclipse- 1 Jackson St, Petone. $15-$20 per person would be appreciated depending on the turnout.
We've got both rooms and there's a drumkit we can use if anyone wants to have a bash or knows a drummer.
Bring your best chops and let's make some noise!

The game is 8pm. Should be enough time to get there.willow13 wrote:same day as the all whites game there....a few of the non welly guys might turn up

You're far too modest Ben, you are a fine musician. Hopefully I can make it too, show off the Maz.bbrunskill wrote: bro theres plenty of bad chops, mine included.

Re: Wellington Gearfest November 14th
Ooooh It's three days before my final performance exam... hmmm It could be just the kind of study break I need
So I'm down as a yes at this stage. Will bring: PRS, probably ESP, Boogie, Legacy 2x12" maybe my flightcased 1x12" with EVM12L if I get around to finishing it in time (not looking likely) and simplified-but-still-insane-pedalboard-of-doom. Maybe a new guitar too if I'm lucky Quite likely actually..

Re: Wellington Gearfest November 14th
If circumstances allow (they do right now) I'll drive down. Make a nice change. I'll have to drive back to Wangas after it's all over, though, most likely, not paying for a motel.
I'll bring my Vintage Modified and my Satin Trans Fat strats. Won't bother bringing my MG15CD
I'll also admit I had thought of waiting until I have something noteworthy to show off, since I can't play worth a damn. And I'll be able to prove this next month.

You WILL make it and show off the Maz.
Do or do not. There is no try.

Fixed. (Well, broken actually, in the Yoda sense. But we want that Maz!)benderissimo wrote:mr_sooty wrote:You're far too modest Ben, you are a fine musician. Hopefully I can make it too, show off the Maz.bbrunskill wrote: bro theres plenty of bad chops, mine included.

Re: Wellington Gearfest November 14th
cant actually remember where Petone is
and I'm not sure how many small children I may in charge of either
but are in the Capital that day
the old man played for Petone RFC
so if we go scenic on reminiscent Wellington drive it's a possibility

Will be in Nelson that day but if anyone wants to try any of my stuff out, I could send it along with Some Bozo (if he's going)
