Larrivee 00 Acoustic. FAV Strat for electric. Ibanez SDGR5 for bass. Push for Ableton. When not doing that, 3D CAD for tunnels...

Well should we? Who's up for it?
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I remember going to an event at the Ellerslie Racecourse where you had all kinds of music related brands and retailers, was over several of the event centres floors and even had live bands! What happened to this, why dont we have such events anymore?

As they never had another, I take it that they lost money on it?
Hamilton/North Island Gearfest coming up soon I believe. If I get my ass into gear there may be another at The Dogs Bollox later in the year.

Re: Auckland Gearfest 5th September OFFICIALLY
yeah that was the music expo ... was great but ultimately worthless for retails. I am in landscaping and we did the ellerslie flower show one year, we won a Gold medal for design something or other...in reality new business generated from it?? ZERO ... total waste of time from a $$ point of view so I assume the music expo was the same. I mean let face it in society what group as a whole would have the lest amount of money compared to the price of products?..musos would be right up thereMakoGat wrote:I remember going to an event at the Ellerslie Racecourse where you had all kinds of music related brands and retailers, was over several of the event centres floors and even had live bands!
