Auckland Gearfest 5th September OFFICIALLY

Post by Bg »

Yes, thats right ;) Talked to the good Capt last night and have hit upon Sunday 5th September between 12pm-6pm for the Aucks gathering. 2 Rooms, lets keep 1 completely for showing and demoing gear, 1 room for a bit of jamming if wanted, and outside for incinerating cheap pre-cooked sausages, smoking reefers and drinking meths strained through a cheap white loaf.

The Capt is pretty keen to show off his new recording facilities too! So if you're thinking of spending time in a studio soon, come and check it out.

There will be a small cover charge to cover costs, and pay for cheap shit sausages and sauce etc...

*** JUST TO KEEP BENDER HAPPY ;) ***

Gearfest - Sunday 5th September between 12pm-6pm
At - The Manor
2 Waverley Street, Auckland (behind Real Groovy)
For bookings Ph. 09 358 0835 or Txt 021 567 063 or email themanor @ stackstudios . c o . nz
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

I'm as keen as a bean, but my keenness may be overruled by my need to be in a different city. Will do my best. And if I do make it, I have tasty gear to bring.

NZTA have decided that is the day to close the Newmarket Viaduct (and hence the Southern Motorway Southbound) for the day. So, traffic is going to be very nasty anywhere near the city all day.

Where's the venue?
Larrivee 00 Acoustic. FAV Strat for electric. Ibanez SDGR5 for bass. Push for Ableton. When not doing that, 3D CAD for tunnels...

I am looking forward to seeing those.

If I manage to finally finish building the cab for my 5E3 I might bring that too. That's going to be pimp when I finally finish it.
