Big thanks once again to Lawrence for the use of the venue and showing us his awesome guitars.
Cheers thanks! And yeah, thanks heaps (once again) to Lawrence.

Hey, Hamo put up a video on FB! :D

Yup, awesome day, thanks guys. I really appreciated getting to have a blat through some different gear, Rob's ESP Mirage into the Soldano, Scooter's SV into his Orange, and as Rob mentioned, letting me try the Blackheart (and his Gibby LP) through his Orange 2x12. Everybody's gear (and playing) just sounded choice - even mine! Being able to open up my amp beyond what I do at home made a whole lot of difference to the sound, as did having it at table-height and pushingit into break up, which I don't do much at all at home.

Now have insurmountable GAS for a number of things. Particularly liked Rob's Suhr Riot pedal. :D

Actually, playing a couple of different guitars with teh small hands thing in mind was helpful too. Not really about hand size at all I guess, but more that thin necks and wide fretboards give me some discomfort, and are harder for me to play.

I got the special back a few days ago, luthier was working on it again. Just need a pickguard, backplate and some minor cosmetic work and it will be 'done'. Very toneful. It sounds incredible through an AC30!

Yeah, nice meeting you too. Don't know why we don't drink... can't remember a recent gearfest where we've actually brought booze, except for one where BG turned up and brought his Kilkennies.
