Yay, got stranded in Sumner with no transport :(

Pics or it didn't happen.

What a great afternoon :)

Thanks Aaron for the superb venue, let's hope we didn't scare the passers by too much

Guys, that was great thanks.

Special highlights again - 8 string goodness, Jem & Universe worship, loved Pete's THD UniValve through my 15" cab, and NZRS-Dave's demo of my Digitech Vocalist!

It's nice to still be able to drop people's jaws.

Even if it is only to throw up.

:)

I enjoyed playing bass and having Cdog and Clarky and TG jam some blues. Been a while since I played a blues riff for that long - my wrist was good enough to point it out when I stopped.

Pete was the king of bizarre sounds today (and I don't mean that he had eaten a currie before he came) ... but the backlit pedal board was the awes0mez!!!1 He's my favourite forumite at the moment.

Thanks Clarky ... good stuff.
Yup - that's me and my pal Steve or little stevie vai as I like to call him. In Auckland airport when I was 26. I'm not 26 anymore.

Yeah thanks for the use of the workshop Aaron!
Only downer about the day was Craig catching me when I tried to fit his hollow body Yamaha in my case.
Ummm....

Was awesome boys, snapped a few pics I will upload tomorrow, Marks blackouts in the RGA8 have ruined me, they have that mid range honkin djent tone so I'm gonna have to get some of those or 808x's, anyone want a pair of 808's?? Big cheers to AC for the venue, and lols at TG for playing his lap steel thru a br00tz patch on my HD

You're too kind Dave :D

Bizarre sounds were courtesy of the caroline wave cannon distortion and it's crazy feedback loop. Also the strymon timeline for wicked delays.

Had a fun afternoon. Thanks to clarky for the venue.

It's fortunate that I'm skint these days otherwise I'd be scouring the boards looking for a Jem and a 4x12 I think. :)

Mmmm floral Jem, one of only two guitars on my bucket list!

I'd have a 4x12 if I had somewhere to put it  maybe it could live in the garage with a cover on it, hmmmm, might wait til I can afford a DT head \m/

Ah that's right ... I couldn't remember the name and no-one had posted any pics.

1. Can see the actual floor
