Wellington August 2012 gearfest
Hi all, it seems that there may be some interest in a gearfest soon.
I can possibly provide a venue (Elim Church), it's central, free car parking, drum kit (Pearl), bass rig (Markbass), Keyboard (Nord) and so on.
Obvious sundays are out for the church, so it would have to be on a saturday.
Other possible venues would be Whitirea (where Lawrence has hosted the last couple of gearfests), or maybe a hall or practice space somewhere?
Chime in with any thoughts,
Ben

I've heard Ed's place is free.
I'll be keen to bring along an improper Gretsch, plastic bodied pedal but a real freshly serviced AC30.

Ed's place would work for a smallish one only - if it's going to be a big one then Elim/Whiti would probably be better.
Still keen to have a little one at my place just for funsies, but that'll be separate.

Ooh, exclusive VIP party at Ed's. Velvet rope across the door I hear...
I'm keen, only new piece of kit since the last one is the HD, and a Digitech Whammy.

I'm interested but don't care about the date. They're all good.

I'm interested as well, I'd prefer a saturday. That gives me Sunday arvo to recover from 6-7 hours of driving

I can't do whichever weekend it is that Slash is in Christchurch. I'll figure out what date that is...

not if it's at Elim, unfortunately. Although I think Jesus would approve of beer, for some reason, some of our church leadership do not . . .TmcB wrote:I'm in, can there please be beer?
