All of the above. Gearfests are great because usernames become real people. I've gone to gearfests with randoms and left with actual friends. Gold.
You should come!

I think we decided on 1pm. Still just need a confirmation from Lawrence about the venue though.

Yeah, what PB and Ben said, pretty much all of that. Plus sometimes there's beer. We always seem to mess that one up somehow though, as I don't think I've been to one yet where the beer actually appeared.

Cool, count me in. Don't have much in regards to pedals / amps, but got a handful of guitars folk might be interested in giving a whirl.

I always fail on the beer because quite frankly beer and all other forms of alcohol are luxuries I just can't afford.

I'm not fussed about beer, I can happily live without it. At least at a gearfest.

Venue on!
264 Cuba St (Whitireia Wellington Campus - formerly the Radio Training School)
Have booked the venue from 12.45 till 5.15.

No problems with people bringing refreshments....just have to take empties away etc.
Ill Put a "Private Function" sign on the door.

Normally there are three or five people who absolutely cannot make it for one of the dates. And this happens to all of the dates given.
