yes indeed I do :) I reckon with the amps we have we could fill a stadium or empty it ;) I'm thinking 70's more than 80's though :D but anything thats excessive would be good - so 60's thru to 90's and 30 minute songs... with 3 verses. and 18 people on stage with 2 drummers.

I have been planning this ;)

Had a great time yesterday. Thanks all you fullahs.

Loved JVPP's Yamaha bass. Huge GAS for one now! The Radian P-Bass also got my bass juices flowing. If I ever play bass in a band again I'll be heading in one of those two directions I reckon.
Finally got to try BG's Ratty Tweed and compared it to the Rhino. Very similar tones out of the two with the Rhino being a touch brighter maybe?
Capt Black's low watt studio amp is damn cool as well- although it sounded better when he was playing it than me.

Cool day all round, although it would have been nice to have a few more peeps there (Conway- I'm looking at you).

Funny. I'd thought the Jansen with a Celestion Blue was a very bright sounding amp. Sitting between two AC15s, it proved to be quite the opposite.

I'd lean towards emptying... but watching people run for the door would be worth it. I can do 70's and excessive 8)

Keep planning...

Yeah, usually I don't like playing other people's basses, but I don't think my got plugged in for anything other than a tune up this time. Both the Yamaha bass and the Radian were superb. As much as I'd love one of the Yamaha basses, opportunities like that don't pop up all that often, so I'm now considering how to wrangle one of ASH's P-Bass pickups into my Jazz.

Bender's green amp (is that the Rhino? It looks like a surf green fender hotrod to me) sounded awesome, didn't matter what was being played through it. JVPP's little Laney cub amp had an impressive sound for a small package too, and BG's amp sounded great. I didn't use it boosted by the GE7 for long enough (cable fault) but even clean it was luverly.

Plenty of tasty chops on show too... sitting outside listening to DM and Single Coil jamming in the 'loud room' has to be one of the best sounds I've ever heard coming out of a gearfest. Could have been Billy Duffy in there, sounded very Cult.

Quite possibly although I suspect I'll still be working 26 hour days, 8 days a week...Darcy might have a view.

Think it was when you went all avant garde on us and kept doing those long H# bends in your solos.
