Ahhhh so the G12EVH is essentially a greenback made in china, not made in england like the real deal

I heard the Chinese Greenbacks have a longer tenon
It amuses me that you use terminology like "the real deal" in this situation, considering your recent rabid Edwards fanaticism.

It's quite crazy that with the inputs bridged and vol's at halfway, the JTM45 through 2 G12H30's was taking on and probably winning against a room of 4x12's with big gainy amps.

fantastic to see you all again. Sorry I was so late, but the gig at Kilbirnie went surprisingly well!
My highlight had to be Ironbirds board, come stage extension, come loading step, come behemoth.
I was surpised by my love of the EVH......should have put the Noyce thru it.....
The other remarkable piece of kit is Tony's 2 x 12 bass cab. That thing is as good as many a much larger cab....
Glad peps likes the singlecut.....
my ears still hurt tho....

sweet, nice sounding and LOUD speakers. the same as in Alan's 2x12 I think?TmcB wrote:2 G12H30'sIronbird13 wrote:hey Tony, what speakers are in your 2x12 that was under your Marshall?
I might have to get me some of those at some stage the G12L's in my lil Marshall cab are a bit too quiet (I had noticed the lil toaster seemed louder through Alans 2x12 than my 4x12)
Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

here’s the rig I was hoping to bring, just imagine how good it would have sounded, except of course no one would have heard it under the roar.

IT was good. Always fun playing other people's stuff and realising you're a talentless hack with a headache in when stood in front of a large group.

I enjoyed watching you play with Lawrence's toys, and using the whammy bar on my twanger.
