It'll be a fashionably late 2pm entrance for myself. So much glamour........

Re: Christchurch Gearfest - March 2nd (new venue)
Managed to drop in for an hour or so with the kids and a couple of guitars. Loads of gear I hadn't seen before which was excellent.
highlight of the afternoon for me was Dave very kindly playing Bob The Builder theme on the guitar for my son Jack, who promptly showed his appreciation by singing the lyrics to Paradise City...
thanks for organizing the venue Dave, and thanks to everyone who showed up and makes it such a great afternoon as usual.
special thanks to Andy for indulging my daughter and playing Living On A Prayer through the talk box

Twas awesome to catch up with everyone and meet you Andy, and Axel, was stoked I could wind my amp right up without doing a Conway to my neighbours too will upload pics once the kids are in bed and thanks to Sty and Cdog for the pedals to try out, that rangemaster sounded so good!

Good time there lads! Many thanks to Dave for sorting out the venue. He did such a great job we even humored him when he started rattling on about floyd roses! Good to see you all again and hear some great gear. Highlight for me was Andy playing his talkbox, awesome! I hope the kids weren't left with their ears ringing too much Sty! As predicted (to myself) I may have been talked into buying another pedal off Jeremy. He's loaned it to me now so I might just start pretending I don't have it. Looking forward to the pics JB! Welcome to the fold Axel!

Man, I was glad you came along - your Faith guitar is ridiculously awesome.Cdog wrote:I missed most of the fun! Great to pop by at the end tho... bring on those pics
I had a blast and it was great to meet a few NZG lads. Probably the best and worst part of the whole thing for me was playing kdawg's strat. It's been on my mind ever since...damn you, Matt!!!
Was pretty impressed with the sound Axel got out of that tiny Lunchbox Jr. too.
Let's not leave it for another 18 months, eh?
