Possible Auckland Gearfest and Screening
Hi Guys.
The year so far has been spectacular weather wise but hell busy with work!
But since the seasons are due to change soon, I thought it could be cool to organise another AK Gearfest.
This is a call for expressions of interest and an indication of what dates work for most people.
What I'd like to see for this one is a return to the Corban Estate venue. Possibly booking two separate spaces, the cellar and the lower room in the old homestead where the veranda is for the BBQ. Having guitar talk and play time through the afternoon then a short drinks break before an early evening, concert volume, screening of Led Zep Celebration Day.
Looking at the calendar and I think April 6th looks good. Short week after Easter. Last day of Daylight saving. What say youse?

Duly noted. Glad you'll make the gearfest. Please allow others to enjoy the extra items on the program without further hindrance.
Thank you.
Have a nice day.

Well that's just such an appalling oversight!
How about the one after then? April 13?

I'm keen, and most weekends in April will probably work for me, seeing as I don't exactly have a lot of plans at the moment once I've moved up!

Definitely keen. 6th is ok, 13th is ok, 20th would be downright perfect.

Re: Possible Auckland Gearfest and Screening
Slashy, this will be your official AK welcome.
Coily, let me know how you're doing closer to the time. We can probably sort you out some budget transport aid on the day.
Pastie, It will be good to see you at one of these things. You're gonna gasm over all the gear. There's even a little chapel on site (that my great grandmother paid for about a hundred years ago) in case you need a sanctuary.
