That was a great fun, I'd decided I really wanted to have a go at a few Gibsons properly this time and I did and thoroughly enjoyed them all, although it has to be said that Kris's SG really suited me - I've got my eye on that one now :)

Also Corey's 18W is looking brilliant and sounding superb, as is Matt's Supro.

As usual Mark's Mark V produces great tones.

Good to hear a Pitch Fork in action, seems like a really practical and useful pedals if you're gigging and might be fun at home as well.

Also great to see so many different pedals and amps and guitars to listen to and play, thanks to all for being such a great bunch as usual. Extra special thanks to Dave for organising the venue as usual.

Video does not do it justice. That thing was louder than knobs. Even outside where reportedly a neighbour said it sounded better than a normal Sunday morning.

The tone was fat and round. I thought it was a tad harsh but that's my old wimpy ears probably.

:)

Always good hanging out with you guys. However it has to be said that I do like the simplicity of my bass rig. One lead. That's it. Still I have been told that if I buy a Sansamp Bass DI, I will never turn it off and never not use it. So I might have a pedal next time.

And yes Kris' quote of the day about the cardboard box was brilliant.
Yup - that's me and my pal Steve or little stevie vai as I like to call him. In Auckland airport when I was 26. I'm not 26 anymore.
