Christchurch Gearfest 21st March 2015
Was thinking 1pm til 5pm? same place as last time:
-St Johns Church
-Cnr of Kingrove Street and Cotswold Ave in Bishopdale (head down Harewood Road toward airport, turn right at playground where there is a big grey elephant slide) That's Cotswold Ave ... then Kingrove is about 100m up on the left.
Please bring $5 for hall koha

Keen for one but would have to be the 7th or 21st for me. But if I remember correctly kris has a gig on the 21st so that may not be much good either. I've got a gig on the 28th.
Ummm....

I have no gigs. No commitments. No excuse not to be there or anywhere else for that matter. I just want to crank up my H&K Puretone with the LP Jr. That and a pie and I'll be as happy as a pig in shit.

Yes. Re-tubed it and am experimenting with different speakers. Can't figure out why it's only got one speaker output. Think it was originally hard wired to the internal speaker but somewhere along the line that's been disconnected. As best I can figure out that is.Kris wrote:My gigs are in april/may...you did get the date right just the wrong month!

I assume you've been googling them, this one looks like it's only got one speaker output and nothing else: http://www.carvinbbs.com/viewtopic.php? ... 7583ae9699Molly wrote:Yes. Mine's just like that but the booklet suggests something else:jeremyb wrote:

On the combo version, the output is factory-connected to the internal 16-ohm speaker. You'll find the connector for an external cabinet behind the rear panel next to the connector for the internal speaker. Bear in mind that if you want to connect additional speakers, you can only connect a 16-ohm cabinet.
However, if you first disconnect the internal speaker,
you can connect an 8-ohm cab

Sounds like they left it off eh! If the output transformer has other taps on it you could get another output installed
