Now that I have my avatars switched on have to say that's a nice 335 there. Got any more pics?
You got to hear the story on that guitar. It's one of the best ever. I'm sure there's a thread about it here somewhere.....

That guitar that I am holding was made by Grant 'lostininverness' (not sure if that's his correct nick). I don't know anything about it other than it doesn't have a Floyd Rose so ... I was just holding it.

He had a beautiful neck that you can see the back of. The fingerboard is something super special on that neck ... it's black morey. It looks really special. Kinda dark maple. Very yum.

I concur on the awesomeness of this guitar. And Grant seems like a pretty top bloke as well.

It was excellent to meet you guys on Saturday - a bit intimidating to start with but you guys were all really welcoming. Excellent to see what you guys are playing - that 18W amp really is the nuts!

And thanks for the feedback on what I bought along - I was wanting to hear what you guitar players thought. So that's my LP Jnr rip that Daves holding. Its chambered sapele with a Fijian kauri top, matai neck w/bound rosewood board, tonepros P-90 pup. There are a few mistakes (mostly the "trick" turners - how easy are they to install on the wrong side of the headstock when your 3 year old is wanting to help) and the neck is a bit chunky of the sides - although kind comments were made about it! Also needs a proper intonation set up.

The other neck - pointing towards Daves crotch - is black beech (has nicer dark grain streaks than silver beech and possibly a bit denser??) and a black maire board. Destined to go a double bound thinline, if I ever get the finish...finished. If anyone's interested, I can post some pictures of it with the body.

Again, great to meet you guys, and kdawg, will definitely take up your offer to test drive and critique my stuff when finished! Waffle over!

LOL. Been there... Now know to make sure I remove the drill bit from my drill when I've finished with it.

Can't quite explain that away as external chambering then???
