I've contracted an excellent case of laryngitis. I'll still be there, just not able to talk. That's probably a plus for most of you.

It won't matter, I could never hear what you were saying over that AC30 anyway.Polar Bear wrote:I've contracted an excellent case of laryngitis. I'll still be there, just not able to talk. That's probably a plus for most of you.

The weather has caused some issues on SH2 but I'm still going to attempt to drive through.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Fark, there is an insane amount of rain... hope it isn't flooding in Petone!

I have a scheduled Surf Daddies practice from 12-2ish. I'll most likely be there nearer to the finish time depending on parking and rain.

Luckily I can still type and write. I'm bringing a stack of post it notes so I can abuse you silently.TmcB wrote:That is great news!Polar Bear wrote:I've contracted an excellent case of laryngitis. I'll still be there, just not able to talk. That's probably a plus for most of you.

Ah.
12, not 2.
Thought I'd be gloriously punctual for this one but no, being a tardy shithead again. See you at 2!

Re: Wellington Gearfest 18 Sept 2016
Great day thanks everyone! Everyone's gear is sounding so good. I now feel like the odd kid out for not having a guitar with at least one p90 in it, and I now have GAS for a semi-hollow, but Badgers 330 was especially fun. Hamo's Line 6 Bogner seems like the deal of the century, especially through a 4x12. the Axe FX has all the tones you could need. And every fuzz pedal today sounded amazing. Someone will have some pics up soon I'm sure.
