Yep - there looks to be three great options for us.

1. WinTec (thanks Si)
2. Biddy Mulligans bar
3. My kids school hall

AIl are available on the day, and all hve good parking options - so the date remains the same. All of the venues are potentially a little small...the school hall being the largest.

I'm catching a friend tomorrow night that may have a fourth bar/club type venue available....will keep you posted.

But keep 1st July open all...we're doing it one way or another!

never been to biddys myself

are there rooms etc? or is it one big open space for venue hire etc.

Wintec is great but again - small

there's the smaller rooms - but no one wants to use them haha

School hall sounds good - I can foresee power outlets being an issue knowing how most school halls are. usually just 1-2 outlets for cleaners

Having consulted with Mr Bender, and assisted by Si, I can confirm that WinTec music rooms will be our venue. Its a very good venue with superb parking and close access to downtown Hamilton.

Be good to see you all on the 1st July, 10am. A map and stuff will follow.

Oh, 10 am until the last one rolls out, which is usually 4:30pm...ish. And then maybe for the Orks people a beer at Cock n Bull on the way out?
