It's true. There is no search result.
I also drink a lot, and have issues with distinguishing between reality and fantasy. I'll check the Italian cooking forum I also visit daily, but fear this is the slippery slope into madness.

There is a distinct need for a drinking forum....

By the end of tomorrow you'll cease to exist.

Actually, I was meant to tell you that yesterday....

Someone has lined the interior of my house with baking foil. Ok, not really...but the facebook thing has me a little concerned.

slash-ed wrote:Haha yes there is. Today I received some blurry pics of the back of the headstock from the seller.

It looks like a chunk/sliver of the headstock behind the nut may have cracked/broken off at some point, but it wasn't a complete snap. It's hard to verify from the crap pics though.

Nonetheless, not worth the money or the risk. I offered a lower amount but he would rather relist. From a vague "collector's" point of view, I'd say any prospective buyers should still be very wary, but from a player's POV, it looks like it's been fixed okay. But again, hard to say without seeing it in person.

Crisis averted?
It would seem so...well done. Wonder what he'll say on the relist? "relisted due to buyer being unhappy with my non-disclosure of headstock repair - can't please some people"

Seems to me that 2.7K for a 60's 335, even one that is non-original and has been damaged and repaired, is still a good deal - is it not?

Important point...330, not 335.

If it was a 335 then yes. A 330, 2.7K is a reasonable price for one in perfect condition. Repaired? not even close.
They sell on ebay for between $2k and $3k in good condition.
Ummm....
