Any excuse to post Focus is always justified :)

Would you mind elaborating on the differences for the uninitiated? I really like the idea of a 335 but definitely prefer p-90s so a 330 seems pretty perfect to me.

Major difference is the 330 is a full hollow body as opposed to the 335 which is semi hollow.

The 335 has a solid piece of Maple running inside it - the 330 does not - just a laminated pressed top. In other words, different sustain properties, different feedback threshold, much lighter (a 335 is not a lightweight guitar) - all producing a different tonal result.

I fancy a 330 with a Bigsby for added mass and cool loks.

You can get 335's with P90's - there is a current Custom Shop version. Failing that, get a players 335 (Studio etc) and jam in some humbucker sized P90's.

No offense taken, enjoyed putting the pics and Focus on.
Looks like BG and I are the only 'oldies' on this forum remembering Focus.
Hocus Pocus was a massive worldwide hit for this Dutch band!
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Agreed - it is pretty awesome. I thought Oprah was looking pretty hot at the start of that vid.

Relisted, no mention of headstock repair, no picture of back of headstock.

I don't think I was wrong to walk away from this.

Can someone ask a question about headstock repairs?

Pics 11 & 12 show the back of the headstock and what appears to be a professional repair.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

So the question is "Do you have the receipts for the headstock repair job?"
or
"That headstock repair looks good. Who did it as I need one done?"
