Rod Capper Guitars

Post by Thomas234 »

Hey guys,

I was doing research for my architecture project, designing a workhouse for a Guitar maker/ Music Composer (craftsman in general) and I managed to speak to one of the most experienced tradition guitar makers i've ever met. He builds classical guitars in his own home. The experience and his stories were amazing to listen to as well haha. He explained how he does it, how he came up with his own way of doing his bracing (top secret) and how he conditions the guitar before the finishing. Perfection is what i call it.

If you have the money and want a classical/flamenco guitar done. This is definately the guy. I don't know how he does it but he's the man. He even showed me the very first guitar he made!

Here are a few photos.

The philosophy of "technically", is technically not a philosophy
because there are still many technicalities, although technically
speaking it can technically still be a philosophy, but it all
depends on how you can technically see technically, technically.

I've played one of his guitars. A very fine instrument indeed.

thats a Wangcaster isnt it?
Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.
