Re: Old Gat Pr0n
Toni Iommi has two containers of SG's that he has been given over the years.
Tony said he has the biggest selection in the world.
I say he's wrong!

Like I say, most of these guitars have only been passing through....I moved them on for other things. I don't own a Strat presently (Fender branded at least).
A container of black SG's with crosses on them....interesting.

Duo Jet DSV
DeArmonds are an acquired taste in a small hollow body like a Jet. Great with big ole Country Clubs...meh in a Duo Jet. But, George Harrison sounded great with his so clearly it was user error.
In my view Fender was the best thing to happen to Gretsch. The newer Fender made Gretches are usually fantastic. The quality is as good as one could hope and they are more in line with he vintage specs. Fret work has improved recently having been touch n go in the mid 2000's. Plus there are new cool models coming out from them.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I think to be classed as vintage, it needs to be older than 25 years.aaronyap wrote:how old is consider vintage? does 80s ibanez vintage or just old?
