Yes, I currently have two SG Jnr's from '63 and '65, an SG Special from '65 and a "65 Matchstick SG Standard (see other thread for matchstick relevance).telefiend wrote:Mother of god, you've had some sweet guitars !!
Do you still have the SG jnr? Some day I shall acquire one
Hamo - I have a real soft spot for Gretsch's. They are not always player friendly but can be made so with the right approach. In fact, very much so. I'll throw some more up as I uncover them in this old hard drive,.

Re: Old Gat Pr0n
That's a great looking JR but it needs a black pick guard. That's my only criticism to you Grant. Well that and you should give me your guitars.

Only the pick guard? Would a couple of cold frothy craft beers not convince you of handing over all the loot?*UNIQUE* wrote:I agree. About the pick guard.

Re: Old Gat Pr0n
Now you're talking.
This SG had a DiMarzio PAF when I got it. From the mid 70's. Man, that pickup was fricken great...I sourced an original to get the guitar back in order but the DiMarzio sounded better than the stock one!
