I'm enjoying this thread. Keep us updated. Even minor things are interesting to someone like me who has no experience or skill in this area :-)

oh, too funny...and I find stiff socks a real annoyance when I'm in those high powered meetings, crossing legs, noticing powdery dry residue.

Hey, ffs, this post is about SG's....made from matchsticks.

Back on topic.

So, the neck is glued. The Maestro is in the bin. The holes have been plugged, mostly (except some of the Cro-Magnon holes)....what now?

Boring stuff like getting the compressor regulator to work. Like setting up my new LP gun. Buying nitro. Buying coloured dyes from StewMac (at Russion Mafia prices).

But - I promise to post a newish photo before the weekend. Because I know you've all subscribed to this thread.

So where do you get nitro? I was in Auckland yesterday and went to my usual place in Penrose and they could only sell me Acrylic. I have several Harmonys I am resetting necks on and need some for touch ups, and in one case a neck respray clear. Any supplier info would be appreciated.

Alternatively can you spray acrylic on nitro?
