Fender Rhodes question.
Biggest GAS regrhett is selling my Rhodes suitcase electric piano a few years ago.
But I do have this, the tone bars and pickups in "who knows" condition. All but two of the lowest bars are there.
Anyone know of Rhodes kits, or projects to get this useable? Or am I just dribbling.

Sell it on ebay. Use the money to buy another real Rhodes.

Just to make you really spit, I sold my last Rhodes for under $300.

It was all they were worth for a while. Now that people are on a vintage kick, their value has risen again. However my reason for getting rid of such gear remains the same: they weigh about as much as an MX5.

Yarr I'm so glad that we managed to talk the old man into changing to a stage piano and some XKs. Loading a Rhodes, Whirli and a Hammond in and out of his gigs was not fun!

Re: Fender Rhodes question.
Ebay it think, I've had sqiz on a few Rhodes parts and repair sites.
A; mad expensive
B; people seem prepared to spend mad money on original Rhodes parts.
C; delay pedals

I have so learnt me lesson there - I had young children at the time and dammit, they're expensive.

Wow, we used to have a Rhodes Suitcase piano YEAAAARS ago... always regretted not getting a Stage rather than lugging the speaker box around.
