Oh yeahhhh....I remember when you were buying that! Now that you mention that guard slot, that's what I saw on a recent post re SGs and eBay. Hopefully this thing is still spinning your wheels Rob. They are such great RnR guitars...esp w/P90s!

Thanks again Grant for your advice when buying it, was a few years ago now. Still gets played often and sounds incredible! Extremely resonant.

How simply stunning.

Had a 60's SG Junior with the vibrola.

Was stolen!

Loved it!

Miss it!

Especially when seeing your fine collection!

Since there are a couple of others sharing! This isn't rare, or collectible but it sounds and plays well enough that UNIQUE put first dibs on it about 4 years ago to try help his incurable SG ailment :lol Still the first cab off the rank over the LPs if we're playing raaaawk muzik

That one is a rock machine alright. Great example of a factory issued Gibson that needs nothing except able hands.

Beauties, one and all, Grant. My first real gat was a Junior (first one was a Sears catalog Strat copy, which, of course is not a real guitar ). Not knowing much when I was 16, I got rid of the Junior for an Ibanez Les Paul wannabe :shifty:.

A very warm welcome! Nice collection there. Is that a Pigtail on the 64? I was using those until I tried the MojoAxe lightning...worth a shot if you want a fatter sound.

Love the LP Junior.

Tell me more about the Pelham Blue Les Paul/SG - it doesn't look like a Tweedy.

Again, great guitars.
