Betsycaster

Post by goldtop0 »

Not that rare and maybe not that collectible but definitely has the WOW factor.......for me.
My first fender style and first put together is a Nocaster partscaster Betsy........7lbs of twang and bass goodness. All bits and pieces from the US and at a fraction of the cost of a(new)reliced one. Swamp Ash with a big fat neck like the early '50s with nocaster pups and wiring.....a keeper 8)

That's super cool man! Makes me miss my '52 reissue, such a great colour combo. Gotta love the wear on it too.

Splutter!!! :wtf:
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Just meant that there are ways to get close for a fraction of the price. Love my Nocaster. Nothing like it with an amp on the edge of break-up. Really strong, bold sounding guitar. You look at it and think: "Shit. There's four grand in those two bits of wood" (six or more if you bought it new). Then you play it and it seems great value.

I thought that 5k of it went into the alchemy that transforms the toan smoke into pickup wire?
