Betsycaster
Not that rare and maybe not that collectible but definitely has the WOW factor.......for me.
My first fender style and first put together is a Nocaster partscaster Betsy........7lbs of twang and bass goodness. All bits and pieces from the US and at a fraction of the cost of a(new)reliced one. Swamp Ash with a big fat neck like the early '50s with nocaster pups and wiring.....a keeper

Doin' that scrapyard thing.

That's super cool man! Makes me miss my '52 reissue, such a great colour combo. Gotta love the wear on it too.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Re: Betsycaster
Just meant that there are ways to get close for a fraction of the price. Love my Nocaster. Nothing like it with an amp on the edge of break-up. Really strong, bold sounding guitar. You look at it and think: "Shit. There's four grand in those two bits of wood" (six or more if you bought it new). Then you play it and it seems great value.Slowy wrote:Splutter!!!Molly wrote:Yep.
