Have any of you gents tried one of these or owned one. Only 10W and while I love the sound not sure how gigable it would be unless miked up.

Do you have any option to buy one? No idea volume or sound wise on this amp, just curious to see what vintage Voxs are around.

I'm a little unfamily with this amp, so it's an AC15 but it's 10watts? I'm assuming the twin bit means it's a 2x12 similar in size to an AC30?
I've got an AC30HW which I love and always like finding out more about the original Voxes.

Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

I'd love the latter. I think JMI are making one. If they're still in business.

Avoid the prototypes.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Extremely sorry gents it's the 10W twin. My bad. They seem to be quite collectable. Not that I'm into collectibility but the tone I dig. Just not sure on the headroom side of it.

Mic into the PA, or just let me have it for home use instead.

My only comment would be to put some $ aside for replacement caps and resisters. What speakers does it have?

The caps and resistors are all good. Speakers are 2x10 Elac

Played through one a couple of times way way back which sounded great at the time ( as did everything as the formulae was similar across the board ). If it sounds anything like the one Doug and Pat use on their YouTube show it will be wicked

Looks as though you could pay between 2.5k up to whatever. Even saw one for 11k which is crazy but probably if in pristine condition who knows.
