Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Mirotone should be your first choice. Will save some uncut more orange tint version for you.

Acetone dissolves the ping pong balls which are made from nitrocellulose... Mirotone won't do that.GrantB wrote:jvpp wrote:Hmmm, might buy some acetone!

I have Mirotone, bought from Adrian a few years back. In fact, my thread re playing with colours, I had food colours mixed up with Mirotone and it works well.
So you are mixing clear nitro with tints then?
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

I'm truly surprised that Mirotone thinners won't dissolve balls!
Yep, re tint and clear...this little project is a first for me re mixing solids though.

Need to look up the mirotone thinner MDS to see what is in it. Could well dissolve balls. I was thinking about the finishing Mirotone I have...GrantB wrote:I'm truly surprised that Mirotone thinners won't dissolve balls!

So.... A discussion about dissolving our balls. Is there no end to our collective creativity?
