I'm planning a large pedalboard just for OD - just got word from Futurlec, they found my PCB order it got returned to Singapore - probably my fault for not getting to the Post Office in time so its getting re-sent and my OD project can continue...

I think they key to this may be having an OD "mothership" pedal board at home or in the studio etc, then being able to select 1 or 2 that take your fancy in the moment for the gig or practise etc...

Remember the key to OD not sounding incredibly cheesy is using it to drive the tubes (which are already a bit dirty) harder - then the magic happens...

I'm 41 :mental: anyway I'm kinda of the persuasion of having an amp that sounds awesome when driven and to just push that a bit harder without colouring it :)

I've got two dirt pedals, Catinbread SCOD and SFT, everything was fine until the JMP50, now all I use is a little slap back delay echo. That monster is loud & dirty enough as is.

I think 2 dirtboxes is about right. Maybe 2 'normal' dirt + a fuzz

HBE Germania, I use it in the lofi (treble booster) mode into the top boost channel of my AC15, and in hifi (clean boost) mode into the normal channel, just gives me more of the amp, altho' the bulk of my time i play into the normal channel and switch the muff on and off for dirt :)

Saucey's pretty much right here. DLS, Les Lius and Ace30 are all about simulated amp tones. The others just work well with my Jansen which, having a grand total of 12 clean watts available, tends to always be cranked in anything more than a Trio.

I switched all of TCMB's overdrives on at once at gearfest... well he did it while I was holding his guitar.

Much loud. Very feedback. Wow.
