Diodes are too small for me to see the stripe, let alone solder the wankers.

So this is just a mockup. v1.1 boards are now on order.

This is Tom Gamble's Electronics For Musicians 3046VCO, laid out by me. About as simple as it gets, really.

Yves Usson's Steiner Parker VCF (my layout.) Not quite as simple. Lots of fun, though.

Got a revision of my Baby Ten board on the way.

My Klee eurorack kit also arrived -- my first kit that doesn't involve the word thermionic and parts from Ryan... this could be problematic ;)

Image

The Klee is probably the world's most complicated and odd sequencer.

So, what did you guys do with your weekend?

Image

I built a sequencer ;D odd working from a kit, having everything on hand (the exact amount, with no extra parts.)

Image

Thankfully, the crimped cables came with it. The soldering was more than enough for me.

Image

This gives you an idea of the construction of it.

I still have to go through and calibrate it, though. 4 or 5 hours on it today alone is enough for me!

Ordered the Klee kit from Synthcube, and the Klee boards from electro-music.com (synthcube sent me the wrong kit at first, and e-m took a few months to get around to shipping.)

I shudder to think what it'll be like if you need to debug it. For now though, you are insane and that looks awesome.

Two major problems arose during testing.

One, Gate 3 bus didn't work. A bit of time with the multimeter and the cable guide, and I found a crimpled connection that wasn't. Stabbed the wire with the screwdriver, and now it's working :)

Two, I'm going to have to rearrange my ghetto case, and I don't have enough room for all my modules now, with this monster done.
