So an update, even with isolating transformers I'm still getting background noise, guitar straight into amp and its dead quiet when I touch the strings... where to from here? some soul searching perhaps...

Is a commercial ABY switcher noisy?

Ok, I think I solved the problem, just needed to link the ground of the circuit to the ground of the signal, instantly way quieter, and I think with that and the hum debugger will make it pretty much silent, yay!

Test fit with the v3 enclosure, printed it with 100% infill so strength issues gone

Considering lining it with copper tape, will see how noisy it is…

And after that long journey it is complete!

Surprisingly the noise it adds from having both amps connected is trivial, can't even hear it when playing at low volume so I'm pretty stoked, this is without any isolating transformers or ground lifts etc...

I really dig pink, I was also too lazy to change the filament in my 3d printer

I like the look of the housing. It looks more interesting than the usual pedal, with that texture.

We all like bit've pink, deep down πŸ’‹

More pedals should be brightly coloured. Black is boring.

I've been designing some pedal graphics recently, all in bright colours.

Had to double check to make sure that was a guitar neck.

Looks great. Did you paint the enclosure? It has a good texture.

What's the process for doing a vinyl inkjet graphic?

Yeah painted it with some metal etch primer and then gloss white spraycans from bunnings, the inkjet vinyl sheets came from spotlight, just chucked it in the printer and changed the printer settings to be photo paper and vivid colour and boom! Let it dry for a while, cut it out, stuck it on, and then poorly carved out the holes for the controls... gotta be careful tightening the nuts on the pots as it can tear the vinyl

Don't fret about it Jean, you might bust a nut over it!
