My LPB-1 clone is *ridiculously* noisy.
It has heaps of white noise, but goes away as soon as you bypass it.
My tremolo clone also is weird.
Same problem with hissy white noise.
But with the added fun that the volume and depth pots don't work. The speed works well though.
They're both General Guitar Gadget projects.
I hates them I does!
What's my next move? Any experience with this?

What sort of enclosure are they in? Is the enclosure connected to the pedal ground? No way a simple boost like a LPB should be noisy. Check grounds and generally wiring, wires should be short and cleanly soldered.

My General Guitar Gadgets MBB was a bit hissy too. I think it's partly because my wires are too long, but I actually managed to tame alot of the hiss by modding a bit of the top end out. The main problem was that it was quite a trebly pedal, and a bit of high frequency cutting with internal capacitors helped a lot. Probably not the same issue with yours though.
