MXR Blue Box MOD
I added an octave-up switch. I'm pretty stoked. It kinda reminds me of the gat sound from "Heathen Child" off Grinderman 2.. Wouldn't actually be surprised if it was a Blue Box running through an octave-up pedal... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uOShqvdr ... r_embedded

Certainly. This one needs a few bugs worked out first. The Octave up cuts a lot of the sub (<100hz).. although, I'm wondering if it's a bad thing. Would make it work alongside a bassist more. The output needs boosted and there's a wee pop in the switching

Re: MXR Blue Box MOD
nice i quite like the idea of the subs being cut a bit.....would make it great for super screechy octave up soloing!
if you can get it sounding really fuzzy with the octave up, nice and mid-top-end focused - think solo on this track
if you can get it sounding anything like that ill take one off your hands fo sho!

Re: MXR Blue Box MOD
Thanks bro. Yeah with the upper octave switched on, the dry/fuzz side of the blend becomes a full octavia. Would be nice to fit it in a case with room for a second stomp.
