Yeah good call, it's just a current limiter for an LED anyway. 'Spose if I'm really desperate I could stick a trimpot or a 47k+3.3k in there.

or a pair of 100K.. it really womt make a difference though

yep, but not cos I'm a tonesnobby, but cos I'm a useless bugger and this was my second one that I couldn't get the trails working on, so just ignored that bit and left it as tbp..cos it worked like that.

also.. I did the magnus modulus too, and it's quite hissy.. queried that on fsb and it was noted that some pt2399 can be noisier than others.. so it may pay to get a few just in case you get a hissy fit one.. just an idea. :idea: <-- see?
