Hello, I'm trying to build this beast. I don't plan to use DC power, what do I need to do to make it battery-only? Will it be ok to leave out the DC socket and wire the positive from the battery snap direct to the 4K7 LED resistor and the hole in the 2nd from right on the top of the board?
