Breadboard station for pedals/audio projects
Here is my new breadboard for pedals and audio based projects. Been meaning to finish this for a while, but just painted it over the holidays....mmmm John Deere Green my favorite.
It has sockets for inputs and outputs and power, power and bypass switches, plus a zillion holes for pots and switches as required.

That's cool! Best thing since sliced bread?

Thanks I was waiting for that one, the toaster attachment is still being designed. I know there is not much to see here but it may inspire someone else to build one as I saw this idea executed by someone else too.*UNIQUE* wrote:That's cool! Best thing since sliced bread?

That's so cool.
A few months back I was digging around in my electronics boxes and realising I can't find any of my old Breadboards and then I realised that DSE don't stock them anymore which made me sad.
The addition of a proper set of plugs and pots is a great idea for prototyping pedals though, must put that in the memory bank for when I get back round to playing with the soldering iron again

Re: Breadboard station for pedals/audio projects
Its for prototyping small pedal circuits without using solder, i.e. with the solderless breadboard.twistedthoughts wrote:Wow, man...
...so, like, what does it do?

Great work bob, be cool to see what pedal sorcery you brew

Thanks Kev et all, of course a fuzz must be built first, but I need to build a Ruby test amp and a test oscillator first....oh and procure a silly scope too.Kev77 wrote:Great work bob, be cool to see what pedal sorcery you brew

Very sweet. Yeah, I was planning one of these a while back, but never got to building it. You may just have inspired me.

this, so hard to actually prototype stuff when you've got loosely wired pots and switches hanging around the circuit and stuffhandlefras wrote:Very sweet. Yeah, I was planning one of these a while back, but never got to building it. You may just have inspired me.

I'd be tempted to build the Ruby into the Breadboard stationbobiron wrote:Thanks Kev et all, of course a fuzz must be built first, but I need to build a Ruby test amp and a test oscillator first....oh and procure a silly scope too.Kev77 wrote:Great work bob, be cool to see what pedal sorcery you brew

Yeah good idea, but what if I want to gig the Ruby?sty wrote:I'd be tempted to build the Ruby into the Breadboard stationbobiron wrote:Thanks Kev et all, of course a fuzz must be built first, but I need to build a Ruby test amp and a test oscillator first....oh and procure a silly scope too.Kev77 wrote:Great work bob, be cool to see what pedal sorcery you brew
