Got the Yusynth ARP4072 filter going today.

It sounds really, really good! It's got a really nice sound to it, different to the Moog Ladder, colours the sound more.

Should get this sorted in a couple months, maybe three. This has taken awhile, this project :/

Decided to do some artsy photographs. Didn't turn out as well as I'd like, the lighting is absolute crap in the back of the case.

Still have to order the panel.

I'm going to replace the output PCB -- I've done a new layout where the 1/2W resistors aren't rangi'ed in there like that, plus with that board the controls work backwards.

Oh, and nothing shorts on those daughterboards, either! :) the back points are for calibration, I only had one trimpot though :/ not to mention I'm short of pots for the front... tayda order time.

I bought a new Eagle licence, and so far I've designed this:

That's excellent Alan - a couple of things though. I'd change the the R8 to an R5, and use a trimpot in place of the S17 :-)

I now has one of these :) Thonk got a new batch of kits in.

Running it through a nearly-self-oscillating filter gets a really nice boing-y quality.

Patching something ELSE while leaving it connected is fun too :)

I finished building the Music Thing Mikrophonie. This is basically a contact piezo microphone, gained up to modular signal levels, and is incredibly fun.

And the RYO Triple VCA. More a workhorse module. Something of a pig to calibrate, but I got there in the end :)

Also finished up the Bastl Tea Kick. I don't need to tie one of my Braids up with bass drum duty any more! This is a niiice module, it can do bass drum, and it can also do insane too!

http://electro-music.com/forum/viewtopi ... 948#418948 Decided to put anything I record up here. There's one there right now, with something I tried the other day.

YUSYNTH ARP4072 VCF

This is a very nice sounding filter! I only soldered half the pots and jacks for testing, and dryfitted the rest before photos. Didn't realise the jack had fell out until after the camera was put away... (yes, the jack was put back in place.)

I found that this VCF must be trimmed before it'll work properly. So far, self-oscillation is naff, I'll have to muck around with it more :)

YUSYNTH VC-Panning Mixer and Output Module

Really, really nice module, this. Yves' designs are always good! I didn't put the VU meters in -- not enough panel real estate.

I'm iffy about the daughterboards, but doing it as one separate board parallel to the pot and jack board didn't work out so well. If I need to, I'll tie them down with some twine and insulating panels.

The Living VCO's can do utterly ferocious, room-rattling bass. Mmmm :)

Three VCOs in parallel eat a lot of patch cords, though.
