Building a pedal board

Post by StrummersOfThunder »

Scored some nice wood in the form of a head board from the op shops for $4 so spent today making the beginnings of an enclosed pedal board.
Some pretty shabby finger joins ( I really don't have the right tools for this sort of work). Super glue wood fill to the rescue.
I have been making my own patch cabels from a couple of old instrument cabels and jaycar pancake jacks too. Meter of nice thick velcro tape from spotlight for $15.
Plan is to have pedaltrain volto (recently bought from Ryan at the amp shop thanks!) enclosed under the board with simply and in and out 1/4 jacks mounted into the wood of each side. Black mdf for the top and small holes for the 9v barrel daisy chain to pop through.should keep things very very tidy.
Line up will be :
Catalina bread picoso clean boost
Glove OD
BBE trem
Ibanez echo shifter es2
Hermida reverb.

Probably room for one other pedal...
