Powering pedal

Post by StrummersOfThunder »

Any bright sparks know how to power two 9v drawing components inside a single pedal with one ac adapter wall wart?
I've I am building a spring reverb pedal containing an op amp powered .5w amp requiring 4-12v and a pre amp requiring 9v. Want to supply 9 v to each. Easy?

If they don't need to be isolated then just link the supply.

Think of it like powering the led circuit, and the effect circuit in a stompbox.

Might be missing something here, but if the circuitry needs 9VDC and you have a 9VDC wall wart ...

Just wire the + & - in parallel between the two circuits :)
