Re: Stage centre reverb build (video added)
Long live the probe!
Ok, made an audio probe and found where I'd gone wrong. Simply one leg of s resistor in the wrong column on the vero.
Working, pretty quite hum wise which is good.
I think it needs some taming. Just even slightly on and it's a massive harmonic cave like reverb. Any tips to curb that dwell a bit?
Otherwise I'm pretty happy for my first pedal circuit. I've learned lots too.

Good stuff! I didn't know they made reverb tanks that small though!

Awesome stuff dude, the dwell issue may need a different tank, it's why I swapped out the one in my AC15 recently

Yeh, I think I an get medium and short delay tanks in this size.jeremyb wrote:Awesome stuff dude, the dwell issue may need a different tank, it's why I swapped out the one in my AC15 recently
The great thing is Clarry from titirangi orders em in and sells them for $10 meaning this becomes pretty cheap compared to other available real spring reverb pedals.

Maybe he was just moving some old stock out??
Re: Stage centre reverb build (video added)
Must be $10 doesn't even come near cost.

Re: Stage centre reverb build (video added)
Yeh, the well one of the online shops had em for $9, so maybe he gets them wholesale from there. Plus he's a good bugger. Or maybe he was just interested to see how bad a job I could do at making a spring reverb pedal.AmpShop wrote:Must be $10 doesn't even come near cost.

In keeping with the number of unnecessary holes inthe enclosure, the only paint I had to hand and the cheesy nature of this effect ..I give to you...
