MN3005 in modern production!

Post by alanp »

http://smallbear-electronics.mybigcomme ... ive-audio/
Product Description
Clones of the 4K Bucket Brigade Delay by this Chinese manufacturer. We have had them tested and found to be as good as the old Panasonic parts. Time to bring your old Memory Man or DM-2 back to life!
Ordered a pair, I'm looking forward to seeing how they stack up against the Coolaudio v3205d clone chips.

I'd jump on it if I were you, if you want any... once word gets out, they'll go FAST, since the other option is either Fake Roulette for $50-100 a chip on ebay (against scammers who are good at not giving money back), or noisy as fk Coolaudio v3205d.

I'm kind of keen. I like that Howard Davis has developed a cheap pedal - in the world of market crazy he could have developed some super expensive thing with some 'hip' effects co - but the reality is that electronics don't have to be expensive and there is very little to none of the magic stuff you hear talked about

It's kinda like... for those in "the secret club", it's Howard Davis!! and for those who are looking for a nice delay, it's cheap and it seems to make all the TGP snobs wet their panties, so...

I have just realised that theres all these products on trademe that the search engine does not see. eg, if i search "xvive" i get no results, when in fact there is a whole range of xvive pedals on trademe sold by artist guitars. I assume that its because artist guitars is a retailer, not a person.

Can anybody tell me how to do a search on trademe that includes retailers? (have posted this on the trademe board as well)

**edit** - solved, at some point my trademe searches had been set to auckland only. For about the last year ive been paying near new prices for 2nd hand pedals, could have been buying them new the whole time. fuck.
 Mids so haunting that demons took over my living room and now my guitar glows!
