Chaps,
I want to make an adapter cable for the control outs on my ES-5 to the footswitch input on my IRT-Studio. I have all the bits i'll need to make it.
My question is how to earth the cable properly?
The din socket has the sleeve AND the common/ground pin. Do i just connect the pin to the sleeve?
5-pin DIN socket to 2xTRS 1/4" jacks adapter cable

can do, won't matter much for a control cable.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Cheers Badg'. Yeah thinking about it now, it's not in the signal path of the amp so it shouldn't effect anything important
