Two Fatalities

Post by Slowy »

IMG_1943.JPG
Both of these have died on me; the Semaphore a while ago and the Ego, yesterday.

They're too good to simply bin.

The Semaphore passes signal but has no wobble

The Ego passes signal but farts and spits when turned on (settle down Jb)

Anybody want to have a go? Resuscitation will be rewarded.

I'd prefer fixing. You heard me say it's not working? What you offering? :D

try a cotton bud dipped in electrical contact cleaner shoved into the in/out jacks.
been known to fix the odd issue
There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

You don't have some sort of issue that's killing your pedals do you?

Weird, my Semaphore is sick too. It has a slight wobble and very low output

Thanks Kev, that's a very reasonable offer. For now, they are going to Jvpp to have a tutu with. After that, who knows.

I need one of these for Slowie's semaphore. 100KOhm, brand Alpha. No can find in NZ....

Failing that, I have to operate on the original pot...
