Boss Repair?
Bandmatehas a second hand Boss Bass Compressor. It appears to have a power fault: no function from the battery, a brief lighting of the LED when powered from my board. Can anyone point me in the direction of a repair please?
Also, a power supply for 4 pedals will be required if anyone's holding?

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
Re: Boss Repair?
It might be an older model when they used a different spec power supply which means that running it off a standard 9v won't work - does it say to use an "ACA" or "PSU" adaptor on the back?

Thanks Jake. I doubt it's that old; I think I might have noticed if it was. Re: Boss Repair?
Thanks. I haven't done anything on my website for a while now. The Simple Fix and other pedal repair posts have migrated over to Instagram more recently purely due to the time factor.

Re: Boss Repair?
Curious, has anyone found a replacement selector pot for Boss delay pedals? I need a 4 position 50k one for my DD3 to get it running again, but so far no joy locating.
The part in the Boss repair manual is 13119308, SWITCH (ROTARY) SBM1024 (SRBM 14011A)

Pedal Parts Australia:

Or you could try the Rockshop who are the Roland agents for New Zealand.

Re: Boss Repair?
Cheers all, I pinged them a mail . The other one I thought of was Guy B who does local amp repairs, as I recall he also did Boss warranty repairs for the RS, but I'll see what they come back with first up.jeremyb wrote: ↑Sat Mar 11, 2023 7:23 amThis was gonna be my suggestion too, had exactly what I needed when I was modding a boss pedal ages agoFuzzMonkey wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 8:51 pmPedal Parts Australia:
