Oscilloscopes
I don't honestly have a need for one at the moment but I'm being tempted by some of these cheap units from China, e.g.

Dude, it’s no good unless it’s valve.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Re: Oscilloscopes
Geez that’s tempting! I sold my Peak testing stuff to Reg18 for a pittance but wouldn’t mind having something about that gets me roughly accurate measurements

Re: Oscilloscopes
The component testing function is super cool, I'd likely use that way more than the oscilloscope feature

Re: Oscilloscopes
I have been looking at one of these types as a potential gateway scope into something more advanced later.

Re: Oscilloscopes
I have been considering one of these as an entry level scope, Bogan Boutique amplifiers recomended one on FB

Be interested in a review of peak stuff or alternatives, I have a DCA55 which gets a lot of use, but was tempted by getting something for easy sorting of the random parts box. and repairs. I dont like the look of those levers on the cheap testers and included on the baby scope above, but everything else looks tempting... hmmmm

My olde scope is now in the skip.... I''m being so ruthless I didn't even rescue the valve from it....

Re: Oscilloscopes
I'd be interested in hear your experiences with it once it arrives JB. Are you able to share a link to the exact model you brought?
