Found this last night and thought I should share:

Anyone else got similar sites they know about?

Depends on what you want... schematics or theory? Commercial amps or DIY schematics? There's 1000's of tube amp sites out there...

off the top of my head:

Commercial Schematics:
Schematic heaven, freeinfosociety, Blueguitar, Drtube (almost every marshall) Sloclone forum (hard to find ones)
DIY Schematics:
you can't go past ax84 IMO, I'm sure there are alot more.
Theory:
valvewizard.co.uk = Better than most published books.
aikenamps, tubecad, ++++

EDIT: Got a URL wrong

That one went down a few weeks ago :wink: Blencowe's site has shifted to the freewebs site. BTW he is hoping to publish a book on this, the website is a bit of a dry run. I'll be in to buy it.
edit, I see the address now redirects to the freewebs site. For a few weeks it was just dead.

Altho' someone here has probably mentioned it before, Jack Darr's book is also a great book for 1st-time builders (and the best chapters are free - still)

You just have to get used to the '60's-themed aims of the writer (when distortion was bad)
